The weather looked pretty crappy but the sky cleared up right before we were about to take off =). I watched 21 again and Batman begins on the plane while I had seconds for everything they served and 3rds on the cup noodles of course ^^. Then we started reading the book on Romans 1. It was a really encouraging part, because it talks about our role to bring the lost to the Son which is the whole point of our vacation. I am really excited to see what the Father will make us do on this trip. I am also reminded to always give thanks even during hard times, because it is what Paul did. I can’t believe it is already 11:48 (according to my iPod) and I’m thousands of feet on top of the arctic ocean. We are landing soon in Beijing just for a night, I can’t wait! Please remember me and tell Father I need to focus on this vacation on Him only as there are a lot of thoughts in my head right now and I just want to get rid of it all and forget what I’m missing in Toronto.
So after our 13 hour flight, we arrived to BeiJing where the customs threw away $30 of stuff (bug spray and water purification!). I was really frustrated but remembered in my head for the Father to just make me calm as the bad guy will find opportunities to deceive us many times during this trip. After dosing off and waking up for 3 hours on Air China, we arrived to Guiyang and got onto two taxis. The taxi drivers here are insane!! We were going so fast and running red lights and not obeying traffic at all! We chilled for a bit at the hotel and went out for a walk where we ate some mini lobsters and fried rice. Dinner for the 7 of us came up to about $120 which is like $17 or $18 Canadian! Well I just finished doing my devos right now and should head to bed soon. Looking forward to what the Father will bring. Hope everyone is doing OK in Toronto =)!
