20080804-Nat-Party!

Today we practiced our songs for the concert we were supposed to have but it rained. (in China it can just start pouring out of nowhere. when the raid hits the ground it is bigger than my big toe.) Today was the first time we took taxis to the school (that is how bad the rain was) we had the party tonight instead of tomorrow and we are moving the concert to tomorrow. A little switch. So today we took a lot of pictures and ate junk food etc. We had drinks but unfortunately after we played the balloon game (you tie a balloon to your foot and you try and pop other people's balloons) the boys (of course it was them...) threw pop at the girls. Stephen poured the pop out in the trough (I hope I spelt that right) and it showed the kids that they had done something really wrong because Stephen has never done anything like that before. The kids sang songs in Chinese, I didn't understand but it sounded beautiful, they were farewell songs and when i get back I'll show you some awesome pictures! Now we are reading our books that the kids wrote messages in. They are wonderful!
oh by the way I barfed twice more today and I have the flu... I think... everytime i cough it feels like my brain is lurching out of my head.
(fill in the action) for everyone as we are leaving and for the students that they will continue to study hard and that they will listen to the witnessing that we have done.
Tommorow will be our final day. Hope we leave a good impression.
Signing out,
Nat
