Team Badminton
As they say, time flies and waits for no men; for it’s already been 5 Days since we started teaching.
Andy and I finally decided on a cheer for our class, the Titans’ Cheer, that is, very simple and catchy, the students loved it. In fact, since today was a "hang out" day, we taught our class a song "From the Inside Out", then perfected our cheers with dynamic actions from Andy.
The students are getting more docile as time passed. Many of the troublemakers, including Harry, were surprisingly quiet today. Perhaps because of the incident between he and Andy :P . Thanks to G. , I can sense that during the multimedia sessions, students were paying more attention than the day before.
We are all, I believe, very used to here now. The foods are great, especially the lunch; it’s like having a feast everyday. But most importantly, no one seems to be terribly sick, thanks be to G..
We also visited the Miao village today, where we got an intimate experience of the rural life in China. Notwithstanding the beautiful scenery, we were able to go inside a Miao brother’s house, where we got a view of their living conditions, which is no very promising at all, you can tell be looking at the tiny kitten that we saw—a poor thing that’s feeding on fly infested rice.(Now I know that I can feed rice to my cat…)
I’m actually falling asleep as I’m writing this…would love to make it longer, but if only I brought my own laptop.
We Are Team Badminton,
The Mighty, Mighty, Badminton, the Mighty, Mighty Badminton!!!
P.S. We need to find a cure for retardation, for all of us that is…
