Partner with Chinese Officials and School Principal
The English Youth Camp runs for 10 days to teach students CONVERSATIONAL English through lessons, activities, games, songs, movies and skits. Bible stories and parables are incorporated to share Christian morals and values. This has been arranged by Partners International with the Chinese authorities and the Principal of the school.
與中國官員及學校校長合作：我們將用十天的時間帶領一個英語青年營，透過講課、活動、遊戲、歌唱、電影和幽默劇教學生以英語對話。在教學中融入聖經故事和比喻，來教導年輕人道德觀和價值觀。這項活動是由協同差會、中國官方及該校校長共同策劃。
Pupils: We will be teaching 110 students who are on average 14 years of age and from the minority tribes of Miao and Dong. The primary faiths of these two tribes are Shamanism, Polytheism and Buddhism.
學生：我們會教導一百一十名學生。他們平均為十四歲，都是來自苗族和侗族兩個少數民族。他們主要的信仰為佛教, 巫摩教. 多神教.

· Two new members have joined our team who are fluent in Mandarin:
Shirley Lam and Jack Shen
· For the Blessing of His abundance and CGC Mission Committee will be our point of contact for any question on Finance (transparency and accountability)
· For a wealth of prayers: Team was successful in presenting their vision and needs to five different groups in CGC (Mandarin, Cantonese and English).
· Ease of Travel – Plane tickets and Visas secured without much ado
PRAYER Items
Health - adjustment to weather, food and time difference (12 hours) in China
Travel – no flight delays or customs holdups
Spiritual – humility, relinquishing anger, doubt, and personal rights by giving God our best and trusting Him to do the rest
Gospel – Sensitive to God’s prompting as we are not allowed to openly preach the good news.
· Team – continue to bond and prepare with unity of vision and flexibility of mind
