Sat 4 - Idle and Reflect

Sat 4 - Idle and Reflect

Last night I watched Mr. Bean with Phil and SK. That tells you how busy we
are. We use my laptop and the projector to watch it. We did not need
speakers as Mr. Bean didn't talk much.

Today, everyone has flown off and I am alone in GuiYang. After breakfast
and walking for 3 hours downtown, I came back to the hotel to nap. Nothing
to do but to reflect on the past and to think of the future.

Past three short-term trips has been a blessing upon me. Though I would
love to encourage more to join so they can reap the blessing, but the timing
is just not there. Blessing does not need to be overseas but in our own
life as we learn to be content and do our best for Him.

Next year, I would love to come back to KL as the PI's project with the
school is a great opportunity towards building relationship that can last.
PI might even be able to do sponsorship for some students that will graduate
from the school so the relationship will continue on. These are ideas /
strategies and it waits upon chrch and China's approval.

In my idle time, doubts and fear kicks in as next year seem so far away. I
am a person who need continual words of affirmation to stick to something so
I pry the Father will keep me on track.

Thoughts:
1. Learn Mandarin so I can more effective. Maybe join Mandarin
service/fellowship
2. Wisdom in the steward of my resources - Time, finance and sprtual gifts
3. The Father provide a CGC to go to KL next year with half Mandarin
speakers
4. Smooth travel back to Toronto and quickly adjust back to working life

Thanks again for all your support and may it be a joy for you as it has for
me.
(Might be last blog till I get back to Toronto)
