Ming (Downtown English, 2nd trip) mc_pendragon@hotmail.comI’ve been attending CGC since 1998. I got baptized in 2000. I think this mission trip is a natural out flowing of Jesus’ love for the people of China. All my life I have had very little regard for my people and my heritage, but since becoming a Christian and going last year I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty of China and its people’s need for Christ’s love. Last year was such an adrenaline rush and a once in a lifetime experience, one that I will never forget and one that I have not forgotten. My friend Nhat best described it as a vacation with God and it truly is. There is nowhere I’d rather be than serving in one spirit and in one truth. Thanks to PI brothers and sisters from all around the world to give me the opportunity to share the love, grace, and mercy message that is in Jesus Christ. “Because of you we know Jesus’ love hangs over like a banner over our city and all of China”. This quote was in thanksgiving on behalf of the class from my closest student. The harvest is ripe, seeds have been sowed, and I want to be part of it again.
